DSE to launch E-trading system from July

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) is going to introduce E-trading system from July, 2011 to upgrade the stock trading. Under the E-trading system, stock investors will not have to place buy or sell orders with traders, rather the investors will be able to do it direct from any location after logging into the trading web server using secret passwords.

Currently, the DSE uses “TESA trading system (Client Part) MSA” system the share transaction electronically, and it is now working on the MSA-Plus (Member’s Server Application) system for electronic trading.
SEC Chairman Professor Dr. M Khairul Hossain termed the development a significant movement in the stock market." It’s another step towards flourishing the stock market ", Mr. Khairul said. He said the web-based trading, which will be executed with the support of the MSA-Plus software, will reduce risk factors for investors.
