DSE and CSE continued to be in the lower edge for the 2nd consecutive day amid high volatility throughout the trading hour 19 May with lower turnover.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) All Shares Price Index (DSI) went down 31.61 points or 0.66 percent to 4761.70 of the day's trading. Out of the 256 traded Issues, 100 Issues advanced, 149 Issues declined and seven Issues remained unchanged. The turnover stood at BDT 4264.99 million.
The DSE general index (DGEN) lost 42.54 points or 0.74 percent to close at 5718.07points at the end of the day.
DSE-20 Index lost 17.03 points or 0.45 percent to 3744.25 of the day's trading.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) Selective Categories Index went down 72.16 points or 0.70 percent to 10257.88 of the day's trading. Out of the 197 traded Issues, 62 Issues advanced, 127 Issues declined and eight Issues remained unchanged. The turnover stood at BDT 574.08 million.
CSE-30 Index lost by 63.48 points or 0.46percent to 13751.72 of the day's trading.
