The Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) on 8 May, 2011 extended listing deadline Mobil Jamuna Lubricants by two weeks more in the wake of expiry their listing time limit. The listing deadline of MI Cement and MJL has expired on 5 May, 2011.
But share trading of MI Cement has begun at CSE.DSE refused to the listing MI Cement and requested the SEC to rethink on its directive. The SEC has rejected the DSE’s request on its directive, said an official of the SEC.
Earlier, the DSE also refused to list the MJL as its offer to compensate in case of going down its offer value within 6 months contradicts listing rules. The listing of MI Cement and MJL created uncertainty due to the postponement of book building method in January. This was the third time the SEC has extended listing deadline for MJL and MI Cement. But share trading of MI Cement has begun at CSE.DSE refused to the listing MI Cement and requested the SEC to rethink on its directive.
